As a new patient

What to Expect

Your first visit will consist of a comprehensive dental examination with your dentist (meet the team here). Typical exams may include diagnostic x-rays, screening for periodontal (gum) disease, TMJ (jaw joint) evaluation, examination of the tooth surfaces and any existing restorations, photographs, 3D scan, and an oral cancer screening.
Your dentist will explain treatment options to you so you can make a fully informed decision about your dental care.

Your visit may also include an appointment with one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. During your first dental hygiene appointment you can expect an assessment on your periodontal health with recommendations for frequency and timing of further visits.

Before Appointment

Info You Can Gather

Before we meet with you for your appointment date, there is information that we will need to gather from you. We ask that, if you have had any dental x-rays taken within the last 3 years, you contact your previous dentist so that they can facilitate transfer to us prior to your appointment date. These images are important for us to help diagnose your concerns, as well may reduce the need to take additional x-rays.
